“As my workload of forensic examinations on hand held devices increases, having an up-to-date reliable extraction tool like Secure View 3 keeps our investigations moving forward. SV3 sports an easy to navigate interface and a clear report generator. When other tools have not been successful, SV3 has been able to extract critical evidence. The software is regularly updated to keep it on the cutting edge of the technology. I highly recommend SV3 as part of your arsenal of portable device examination tools.”
I have been a long time user of the SecureView product in our lab. As time has gone by, the volume of cellular phones that need to be examined has increased to the level that it is impossible to keep up with demand. I recently became aware of the Virtual Cell Phone Investigative Kiosk a program being at the Heart of America Regional Computer Forensics Lab. This program allows other department members to use the SecureView software from their desk or workstation to collect data from a cellular phone. This has reduced the need to wait for a full examination in our lab and has reduced the number of cellular phones awaiting examination. This program will be very beneficial to our electronic evidence examination program.
As a School Resource Officer a major concern I see in school today is Sexting and Bullying via cellular phones. As I work to address these issues, Secure View has become a very important tool allowing me to acquire, analyze, and review evidence recovered from cellular equipment.
I have been using Secure View for Forensics for approximately two years and have had great success in using the kit to investigate a wide variety of crimes. The report generated from using Secure View has a very professional appearance and is easy to read. The success I have had in using Secure View to for intelligence gathering purposes, as well as to prosecute and convict criminal offenders has led to neighboring departments requesting my assistance. I would highly recommend Secure View for all investigators in the law enforcement community. A state of the art product combined with excellent customer support makes SecureView an excellent choice.
…easy to create a bar graph that visually displayed a timeline of activity between any range of dates and times. Many law enforcement professionals and academics said that they felt that this forensic toolkit and technical support plan were within their budget and competitively priced as compared to other cell phone forensic tools.

Susteen Secure View 3 has taken an already intuitive product and made it even more so. Large easy to read navigation buttons make processing media a simple process even under extreme conditions. All confusion as to the inclusion of analytic's in the base software package has been removed. If you have SV3 and don't use SVProbe you are missing out on the power of this tool.

I use Susteen Secure View as a tool in my cell phone forensic classes at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I found the software easy to operate and produced a nice digital forensic report in class with all the MD5 hashes on everything that was seized from the cell phone. At the High Tech Crime Investigative Association Conference in Atlanta , Georgia, in September 2010, I used Susteen Secure View as a digital forensics tool to demonstrate acquisition of a Blackberry Bold in a cell phone forensics workshop. Then I used some new features to GPS map the location of some pictures that were taken with the cell phone and show a graph of all the cell phone contacts.
Here is an article I wrote about the graphing feature for a counterterrorism security Organization. http://www.iacsp.com/digdev_sec.php?p=5
